Related studies have shown that poor access to toilet facilities in households are one of the reasons for susceptibility to infectious intestinal diseases. Other investigations have also shown that government subsidizations are incapable of addressing the need for toilet sanitation. Inputs were taken from both residents and outside consultants. This study focused on sanitation only through cooperative efforts with said agencies and organization and sees the effects of information dissemination through Community Led-Total Sanitation, health curricular modified to become locally appropriate in elementary and high school, and family development sessions of the Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino Program. For sustainability, a draft of an ordinance has been submitted to the Sanguniang Bayan requiring all households to have a sanitary toilet. From 62% households with sanitary toilets in 2011, 67% now have coverage that is not accountable by toilet subsidizations alone ER -
