In Rosario, La Union, a problem in transportation was identified as one of the top reasons why mothers opt to deliver at home and not to a health facility. Increase in the number of Facility-based deliveries by means of transportation of patients to a health facility is the primary goal of this project. Monitoring and Evaluation of the project will determine the impact, effectiveness, efficiency and sustainability towards the achievement of our goal. In this case, achieving a zero home deliveries and 100% Facility-based deliveries is very promising provided with a good policy implementation, Basic Emergency Obstetric and Newborn Care trained staff and accredited facility, adequate human resource and a responsive community ER -
