520 _aThe general format of the study, methodology and scheme of presentation of findings were discussed and mutually agreed upon. The consensus was to start the study with a brief description of the profile of the country and key environmental concerns. Assuming a response rate between 10 to 20 percent, it was decided to mail a common questionnaire to about 250 firms in each country and follow it up with three case studies of firms which form part of leading industries in that country and also which are considered to have experienced some pollution problems.
