It is also expected that existing and potential conflict between the NAPC Secretariat and basic sectors will be addressed and prevented, and promote a collegial or co-creation working relationship and effective platform for inter-stakeholders poverty alleviation advocacy engagement. Several preparatory activities and complete staff work were conducted in the implementation of the ReP: the creation of the Project Team, the conduct of regular Team meetings, research, project orientation, scoping session, stakeholders consultations, presentation, and validation sessions. Most of the activities were held back-to-back to maximize resources and people' time. The Scholar initiated the drafting of the Manual based on the outputs of preparatory activities conducted and the inputs from the collaborative efforts of concerned stakeholders. The NAPC Basic Sector Unit Director and the Vice Chairperson for the Basic Sectors duly endorsed the First Draft of the Manual and issued the corresponding Memoranda for its finalization and consequent adoption. The ReP served as a culmination of the learning gained by the Scholar from PMDP. To sustain the initiative, the Office of the Vice-Chairperson for the Basic Sectors and the Sectoral Representatives Council adopted the ReP intervention as one of its priority initiatives and commit to continue post-ReP activities towards the institutionalization, popularization, and dissemination of the Manual.
