Public Management Development Program

The Re- Entry Project (ReP) entitled "e-Project Citizen Watch" was conceived in response to the alleged growing disenchantment of the public with government due to, among others, its failure to listen, show empathy and win people's trust. The ReP then intended to help dissipate such sentiment by infusing intentional citizen-listening in project monitoring through the incorporation of a citizen-feedback feature into the web-based project database called the Project Information Management System (PIMS) of the National Economic and Development Authority(NEDA) 7. The ReP was also expected to partly attain NEDA's targeted OPIF sub-sector outcome of having transparency, citizen's participation and accountability increased. The ReP covered the completion of programming of PIMS and its citizen feedback functionality, testing the means for generating citizen feedback, and planning for its mainstreaming into the existing NEDA 7 project monitoring system.
