520 ## - SUMMARY, ETC.
Summary, etc. The PSA has a vast number of establishment-based data collected through censuses and surveys. However, the databases of the different datasets vary from text (ASCII) to MS Excel and MySQL formats. This Re-entry Project was conceptualized to fast-track the creation of a time-series structure for the different datasets. The project adopted a two phase implementation strategy. The first phase focused on the creation of a DAta Mart, a standard database that will serve as the repository of all establishment-based data sets. Among the data sets from 1988 to 2012 establishment-based censuses and surveys, the 2006 CPBI, 2010 ASPBI and 2012 CPBI data sets were selected to be processes during the initial phase. Using the file structure and their corresponding census/survey questionnaires, the linkages of the variables between the three data sets were established before uploading to the Data Mart. The second phase which will be carried out after three-month ReP implementation period will process all the data sets not covered in the initial phase. The objectives of the Re-entry Project were achieved in spite of major obstacles that came hand in hand with introducing changes in an organization. Nevertheless, the project was able to provide the fundamentals for the creation of time-series structures for all the historical data sets augmenting the PSA's capacity to effectively and efficiently respond to the growing demand for establishment-based time series data. For sustainability, a data standardization policy was formulated to ensure that the database design for future establishment-based census and surveys will conform to the Data Mart.
