This study depicts the picture of multifactorial, scientific-based approach of a subanen sanitation program. This study aims to describe the current status of the municipality in terms of access to sanitary toilets and its' utilization among the subanen group. Moreover, it will identify the different contributory factors to poor utilization of sanitary toilets among the subanen. Methods used in the study were document review, key informant interviews, surveys and document analysis. Though there tools, it was ascertained that only 67% of the total population had access to sanitary toilets, pf which, 32% are subanen.
