The unemployed women of Santiago are the main focus of this Re-entry Project. They were made its center of attention through the Gender and Development Framework which is the foundation on which Micro, Small and Medium Enterprise (MSME) program interventions became the strategies and tools of empowerment. The Re-entry project was piloted in five (5) barangays namely: barangays Calaocan, Centro East, Luna, Rizal and Santa Rosa where the women participated in the pre-identified projects classified under a general title "wearables and homestyle". They attended a series of training activities and seminars such as Entrepreneurial Advocacy, Social Preparation, Focus Group Discussions and Planning Seminar Workshops to make them aware of their roles in the economic development of their communities, to let them know and appreciate the programs of the government specially crafted for them, to open their awareness on entrepreneurship, and to ignite their passion to become their own 'boss'...Item type | Current library | Call number | Status | Barcode | |
