Moreover, this Action Plan and Project looked into the components of local health systems, such as health service delivery, health regulation, health human resource and health financing in the process of finding a lasting solution to the problem of malnutrition in the municipality through the crafting of Municipal Nutrition Action Plan. This study mostly utilized documentary evidence to identify which governmental sectors have nutrition programs and what were the activities these sectors conducted to support the program for 2010-2012. Focus Group Discussion where all stakeholders in Don Victoriano were invited was utilized in crafting the Municipal Nutrition Action Plan. Methods for identifying the accomplishment of each sector in implementing the MNAP were through document analysis backed up by field investigations. This paper showed that integrated and complemented nutrition program in the form of Municipal Nutrition Action Plan will produce accomplishments way past the targets and improve nutrition parameters, although there are some aspects of the MNAP that still need focused attention.
