Based on the findings of this study, strict adherence of HALA BIRA program increases the control percentage of hypertension, hence it is recommended that this program should be continued and sustained. The sustainability of HALA BIRA program could be strengthened through the continuous support of the LGU, RHU staff, barangay officials and BHWs. It is also recommended that all controlled hypertensive patients may not need to follow up in the main health center; they are being decentralized to the Barangay Health Station wherein all concerns will be directed to the midwife and NDP so as to address the problem of transportation cost.Item type | Current library | Call number | Status | Barcode | |
