Tuberculosis occurs in very part of the world. It is a major public health problem in Bagac, Bataan. The main objective of the study is to implement Local Lung Care Initiative as a Supplemental Strategy for the National Tuberculosis Control Program. The Local Lung Care Initiative is a community oriented strategy to improve the National Tuberculosis Control Program in the local setting. Gaps and causal factors were identified in the study. Health System Knobs were used - Financing, Organization, Persuasion and Regulation to address the gaps of the program. The indicator used to measure the improvement was the number of bacteriologically confirmed cured patients after the implementation. The Local Lung Care Initiative as supplemental strategy improved the National Tuberculosis Control Program Implementation in Bagac, Bataan through its increased cure rate.
