Summary: Immunization remains to be an important tool in public health, with the ultimate objective of eradicating vaccine preventable diseases. However, there are still families who are not aware of the importance of immunization. While through vaccinations the lives of children are save, it also deal with the issue of poverty by improving the status of health and productive citizens. This action research aims to increase Fully Immunized Child coverage in the Municipality of Ampatuan, Maguindanao, Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao(ARMM). Health Services Delivery in the area of ARMM is a challenging one. The gaps identified and addressing them contributed to improve health care program. The delivery of Immunization Program in the municipality had been hindered by several factors in relation to service delivery, logistics, financing, information and human services. This action research aim to: 1. Identify the current gaps in the existing immunization practices in Mapatuan, Maguindanao. 2. Enumerate measure to improve the existing Immunization Program in the municipality. 3. To develop strategies by way of an empowered mobile team to increase the FIC status in the areas with low FIC coverage through community mobilization. This research is both descriptive and qualitative. Furthermore, quantitative method was used to analyze and interpret data gathered. The level of awareness and perception was assessed using Likert Scale. Results and analysis showed that to increase the Fully Immunized Child coverage in the municipality can be addressed by multiple stakeholders effort such as intensifying the awareness of the community about immunization and integration of knowledge towards sociocultural beliefs, logistics, financing and facility enhancement. The participation of the Local Government Unit for the local ordinance for immunization and other support for health programs must be kept informed through regular Local Health Board Meetings.
