Summary: Tuberculosis is a global public health problem and the burden of tuberculosis remains to be enormous. It is a major problem in Torijos, Marinduque. The main objective of this study id to describe the current status of the tuberculosis control program in Torrijos, Marinduque, to identify the gaps an needs, and to form interventions based on the needs oi improve TB treatment outcomes. A needs based intervention was done as a supplemental strategy for the National Tuberculosis Control Program in the local setting. Gaps and casual were identified and the health system control knobs were used to address the gaps of the program. The needs based intervention as a supplemental strategy improve the National Tuberculosis Control Program Intervention in Torrijos, Marinduque through improved TB treatment outcomes.
