Summary: The surge in cases of acute atery diarrhea in Barangay Nusdak, Patnanungn, Quezon required immediate attention and response due to high risk of mortality secondary to cholera infection and subsequent dehydration. The increasing number of suspected cholera cases is a threat to the health and economic status of the residents of barangay Busdak which is one of the densely populated barangay in the Municipality of Patnanungan. The goal was to decrease the case of cholera min the area by 50%. This study, utilized sanitation barriers in the form of Community Led Total Sanitation and intensified WaSH services to stop the transmission of cholera within the community. Disease Surveillance served as a guide in the formulation of strategies in the control and prevention of cholera in the area. The incidence of cholera in the area decreased by 86.7% thereby achieving control of cholera in Brgy. Busdak.
