Summary: This is a quantitative, non-experimental descriptive study done in the form of survey using questionnaire as measuring instrument. Pre and post assessment was done utilizing the same questionnaire. Health education on hypertension by Health Workers was the main intervention. The purpose of this study was to examine the hypertension-related knowledge, attitudes and lifestyle practices among adults. There were ninety five (95) respondents that were evaluated. The results of the study revealed that there is significant difference in the knowledge on hypertension among adults after the interventional study by health workers. There is also significant difference in some attitude and practices on hypertension among adults after the interventional study by health workers. The researcher has recommended the extension of the study with a long duration to determine if changes noted in the past intervention will result to consistent knowledge and positive attitude as reflected into practice. The researcher further recommended that programs on hypertension be focused more on the attitude and practices modification like Health Promotion Campaigns towards its control and prevention.
