Summary: The purpose of the Project is to create a Knowledge Management (KM) tool intended to serve as the comprehensive status monitoring database for all cases from its inception to its termination, allowing the COA Auditors to enforce and the Management Auditees to comply with the Notice of Suspensions (NSs),Notice of Disallowances (NDs) and Notice of Charges (NCs). The Capstone Project was conceptualized to improve and strengthen the monitoring of audit results and enforcement of decision on audit disallowances and charges. The successful realization of this objective will help achieve the organizational outcome of promoting public accountability, improving the efficiency and economy of government operations and effectiveness of government programs in order to contribute good governance, which will ultimately redound to improved economy and enhanced trust in the government. The Project Team successfully implemented a comprehensive and customer-centric case monitoring system where the Auditors and the Auditees are be able to store relevant data regarding the audit suspension, disallowances and charges. The development and implementation of the case monitoring system has achieved two significamt milestones: (1) the Commission was able to leverage the existing technological advancement, at no additional cost, thereby fulfilling its role as the guardian of public fund and enabler of its Auditees; and (2) the Auditees are empowered by allowing them access the monitoring system in the most effective, efficient and economical way.Item type | Current library | Call number | Status | Barcode | |
